My Spooky Events at Covenanter's Prison Edinburgh

It was a cold crisp night and the moon was full. I could see the moon glare back at me. I felt safe with its beam of light on me.

It was 9.30 pm and I was just about to do an event at the Covenanter’s Prison. It was at this time I new I was going to experience something out of this world.

I am the Psychic Medium for. I have known for a long time it was the most documented poltergeist case in history and have worked here on several occasions lots of different location. This world famous Poltergeist has been nicknamed the Mackenzie Poltergeist. It is said the Mackenzie Poltergeist has been responsible for hundreds attacks on visitors to the Covenanters Prison over years. The attacks started in 1998 and continue to this day.

 The Covenanters Prison is located with Grey friars Cemetery, resting place of the famous Grey friars Bobby and his master John Gray.

Let me explain what goes on in an event so you can get a better picture of my weird happenings.

The night always begins with brief history and explaining some recorded past history that they have witnessed. This is lead by a guide who always does City of the dead Tours at Covenanters prison.

I then always lead everyone into a psychic protection before we begin a ghost walk round the Prison grounds. I always connect with energies and some times I find myself delivering personal messages from the spirit loved ones who walks with you that day.

My main aim is to channel spirit presences of the prison but very often it is your loved whose energies are stronger. This is because I am also a Platform Spiritualist Medium.

After I had done my walk around we did experiments with Scotland top leading Paranormal Investigator. Everyone will gets the opportunity to use the equipment and attempt to detect spirit activity for themselves.

EVP sound equipment and vigils are among the experiments that will be carried out.

It was during the vigils I felt and experienced the amazing poltergeist head on.

I never normally believe in negative spirit and wondered if I was blocking out the alleged claims of the famous poltergeist. Or had I experienced him in a milder form than this night. I will never know. All I know was the force on this occasion was stronger than ever experienced before leaving me feeling psychically sick and mentally drained. I always do a protection prior to our events and also wondered had this prevented me form experiencing the poltergeist as forceful. But I have to admit when doing the protection this night I was making sure everyone participated and may have forgotten to protect myself 100%.

During my investigations I had terrible tingling sensations to my face and more so than normal. I did rub my face every so often but made sure my nails never touched my face. As I know by now this poltergeist likes to leave his mark of a scratch.

So I did not wish to waste my experience but wait and see if I should be marked.

When leaving the event I did notice in a small mirror I had red circular mark, on my face it looked like a child's bite. The very next morning I had a brighter mark on my face which was witnessed by one of my close friends. She also said it looked like a child had bitten me. Unfortunately my camera is broken and I need a new one, so I never got pictures. I honestly never thought I gain this experience. I was not armed with my camera. I will be out now buying a new one.

This has left me to question is there more than one poltergeist in this prison?

As a medium I do pick up on all sorts of spirits.

I even gave a young man and his sister a reading while visiting the event.

 They had brought their own loved ones with them and this does happen. The events are about finding the spirit with in the venue but sometimes you will find you bring the spirit along with you. So sometimes you will be lucky enough to find me giving you a personal message as well as me apposed me talking about the spirit with in.

I also picked the name Frank up on while doing the vigil. It seems after him making a few tapping sounds he went through into the EVP sessions as they also picked up the name Frank.

We also lost the motion detector and I knew we got locked in and the gates of the prison where locked and nobody can leave with out the guide. So when we where packing the equipment I had noticed a light on the motion detector and told team leader the light was on in it! He had explained that it was a power light, its fine just leave it there just now. Roughly five seconds later we went back into the mausoleum to get it and it was gone.

I began to think some one had sneaked in and stole it. So I started checking every ones bags asking if they may have picked it up by mistake. But nobody had it! I was so suspicious of everyone.

After everyone left we found it beside the car!

All in all I will never bore from doing this event and state each one has been different for me and I love it.
